We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, upbeat person who enjoy working with the public, can be on their feet for hours at a time, and don't mind a little hard work. Must be available Saturdays. Good spelling, speaking, typing, and math skills are required (knowledge of Spanish would be a plus). Common sense and a sense of humor are also helpful!You will learn how to properly package items for our customers so the item will survive the rigors of the shipping system. You will determine the best way to ship the item (UPS, FedEx and USPS) and be responsible for making it happen. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the store neat and clean, restocking retail inventory, and correctly sorting mail and packages for our mailbox customers.
The ideal person will have experience in providing customer solutions, a positive, can-do attitude, be detail oriented, able to make proper change, accurately type 35-40 WPM, be a quick learner, and have some amount of mechanical ability as we make custom boxes and/or crates when needed. (Don't let that part scare you, it's not hard and we’ll train you.) You must also be able to safely lift 40-50 lbs. unaided.
