Who We Need

We are looking for tenacious and dynamic Sales Development Representative to provide sales support! This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set Expedock's sales cycle in motion. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills plus the ability to handle rejections and sidestep objection. Background in the freight industry is a big bonus. Our business has been exploding. We have a clear idea of the type of business we can sell to and the decision makers within. All you need to do is figure out a way to put our Sales Team in touch with a decision maker and you can consider the deal done.

Job Description

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone call, email, LinkedIn and other social mediums
  • Research your target companies and help identify develop business opportunities with account executives
  • Work with marketing, business development managers, and product to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities in your market segment
  • Create the list of questions or sales call scripts to qualify or disqualify leads
  • Setup quality lead meetings for business development managers
  • Diligently update Hubspot, our CRM, for other members of the Sales Team to stay current on leads and follow ups
  • Provide detailed notes on prospect interaction and deal insights to ensure the opportunity is understood
  • Consistently achieve assigned lead generation quotas and performance goals

  • Self-starter and critical thinker who can thrive in competitive and results-driven environments
  • Ability to determine a potential client’s needs and convert those needs into a potential fit for Expedock’s services
  • Proactive, persistent and resilient in finding Expedock's potential customers
  • Has the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Has strong and professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to work EST (New York) or PST (San Francisco) timezone

  • Relevant sales development experience in B2B technology, SaaS industry
  • Prior sales development experience in the North America and Oceania markets (USA, Canada)
