Summary: The Sales Support team within MSHS is responsible for performing tasks which support the Sales organization in line with their market directives. The Sales organization will rely on Sales Support to deliver professional documentation, job estimates, order handling and other support so that Sales can focus on maintaining and developing relationships with MSHS's customers and building relationships with new prospects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares routine (larger or more complex) service quotes for sales team, under direction from sales team.
- Coordinates with field service, workshop and technical service for work times, cost estimates
- Coordinates with parts supply team for parts delivery timelines, tooling delivery timelines
- Calculates estimated margins for sales to manage and negotiate as needed
- Reviews hand-over ticket from Sales to Service in coordination with Salesperson plans
- Prepares change-order estimates for customers and ensures information and accepted POs are recorded internally
- For orders received based on quotes prepared by Service Sales Support team:
- Customer PO terms and conditions review, addressing deviations and/or acknowledgement
- Coordinates internal system updates with various stakeholders for orderbook tracking and sales forecasts
- Supporting Sales in case of troubleshooting (such as clarifying or providing document copies)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain overview of ongoing projects
- Ability to implement organizational and process change in response to business needs
- Strong listening, negotiating, verbal, and written communication skills needed
- Attention to detail and ability to compare and recognize relationships between project stages
- Demonstrates ability to advance technologies, processes, and practices in area of industrial distribution and services delivery

Education and Experience Requirements
- Associates degree and 3 years of experience in similar role; or
- Minimum 5-years of experience in similar or related role in lieu of degree
- Must be efficient with Microsoft office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; Adobe Software
- Experience with INFOR (ERP), preferred
