Job description
Subway Sandwich Artists are expected to:
Greet customers and take their orders, either in-person or over the phone.- Prepare bread and other ingredients for sandwiches, subs, and salads according to customer specifications.
- Assemble sandwiches and subs, ensuring that the ingredients are arranged neatly and attractively.
- Use the POS system to ring up orders and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Keep the food preparation area clean and organized, including washing dishes, cleaning counters and equipment, and sweeping and mopping floors.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper food handling and storage.
- Stock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
