JOB SUMMARY

This position accurately records information for truck deliveries weighing on the scales. This position also provides support to Finance and Raw Material manager as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position accurately records information for truck deliveries weighing on the scales, as well as, provides clerical support for Raw Procurement and Finance.

  • Accurately record scale tickets, create barcodes, daily load traceability and reconciliation, and interaction with drivers, field representative, and plant. Strict confidentiality must be maintained for all grower information.
  • Clerical support: Maintain GAP and chemical records, answer phones, direct truck traffic, etc.
  • Reporting and data entry as directed by the raw material accounting supervisor, good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Maintain order and housekeeping of scales and scale house.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Reliable with excellent customer service skills. Motivation to grow within the company. Good computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Good mathematical skills. Ability to read and write in English; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma. One year or more of experience in similar fields.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (ESSESNTIAL REQUIREMENTS)

  • Qualified applicants must have a proven track record of excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Good computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Good mathematical skills. Ability to read and write in English; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work with limited on-site supervision.


WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
