Positions located in Yakima and Toppenish

*$300 sign on BONUS

Basic Function: To provide direct service and support to identified students through implementation of designated behavior plan in coordination with School District Staff.

Essential Job Functions

*Work with designated students in a manner which builds the student’s self-esteem and motivation to participate in school.
*Acknowledge and work with the potential of all students to participate in the educational process and grow as individuals.
*Work with designated students to ensure consistency with educational goals and implementation of agreed upon behavior plan.
*Explore academic interests and learning styles as appropriate to support students to attain educational goals.
*Document student progress as required by the program.
*Attend and participate in meetings with school district staff, families, and students as requested and appropriate.
*Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, agency meetings, and in-service trainings.
*Maintain positive working relationship with students, co-workers, supervisors, contractors, and the general public.
*Represent Elmview in a professional manner.
*Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

*Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or obtain approved exemption
*One year experience working with people with disabilities
*High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
*18 years of age or older
*Valid Driver's License
*First Aid and CPR card or training within 45 days of employment
*Ability to meet Immigration and Naturalization I-9 requirements
*Ability to pass background checks as mandated by state of Washington and school district

Wage

$16 - 17/hour or DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
