We are hiring! We have an immediate need for several Scrum Masters for a long-term contracts. Positions can be salary or W2 hourly, your choice. No travel or relo funds are available.

As an Agile Scrum Master, you will be a servant leader and subject matter expert for agile teams, ensuring Scrum theory, practices and rules, are understood and enacted. The Scrum Master will be responsible for driving project execution, removing impediments and promoting transparency. You will facilitate daily stand-ups and ensure the integrity of the agile process by capturing team metrics and removing obstacles to drive projects to a successful release. In addition, you will provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship, helping to grow and develop your team members.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate all Scrum Ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Grooming, and Release Planning.

· Coach and train team members and others on the Scrum framework and related artifacts (user stories, story point estimation, etc.) as well as other agile methodologies to help guide teams to more successful outcomes.

· Demonstrate what specific Lean/Agile/Tools/Techniques/Principles to best apply, based on Team needs, environment and constraints.

· Synchronize with non-technical teams to deliver releases smoothly.

· Identify key cross-functional issues and project synergies; provide guidance with complex project issues.

· Collaborate effectively with management and appropriate project stakeholders on issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned complex projects/programs.

· Mentor and coach teams on Agile/Scrum practices and self-organization.

· Remove impediments to team deliverables and product goals.

· Guide teams to more successful outcomes by assessing Scrum Maturity of team and bring them to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace.

· Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

· Hold the Team accountable to the agreements they set and the commitments they make.

· Build a trusting and safe team environment where all team members can raise problems and issues without fear.

· Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.

· Encourage team members to share responsibilities and build cross-functional skill-sets.

Requirements:

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree

· Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience working as a Scrum Master delivering high quality solutions using Agile techniques with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including large group facilitation and training, with expertise in communicating with key project stakeholders and Senior Management.

· Proven track record of successfully growing and maturing teams and/or experience leading Agile transformations.

· Demonstrated expertise in applying Agile principles, practices, and theory (User Stories, Story Pointing, Velocity, Burndown Metrics, Agile Games, Tasking, Retrospectives, Cycle Time, Throughput, Work in Progress levels, Product Demos).

· Detail-oriented and willing to ask a lot of questions to ensure the team is moving in the right direction (knowing the answers to the questions and applying that knowledge to drive the teams actions), with ability to communicate technical information.

· Proactive and ability to think downstream and plan ahead.

· CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, or CSPO certification required.

· Experience with JIRA

· Proficient in use of MS-Project, NetSuite, MS Office Suite, MS Visio, SharePoint.
