Who you are
You're a dependable self-starter who s interested in managing the day-to-day security operations of one of our commercial buildings. It's one of the first steps towards a rewarding career in corporate security in the growing field of commercial real estate. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach in everything you do. You will learn how to operate and manage security video, C-Cure building access, fire alarm, intercom, telephone, public address system, NVR systems and two-way radio communications systems. You will also maintain the security and safety of the building by managing approved after-hours access, incident reports and being ready for emergency situations.
As a Security Officer in Sacramento, CA, you're eligible for:
- Paid annual training
- Annual reimbursement of Guard Card (renewal)

What you bring:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- A clear criminal history and you must pass a drug test.
- An ability to obtain a valid California BSIS Guard Card within 6 months
- Ability to stand at post for prolonged periods of time, walk patrols on regular basis, and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be certified - or obtain certification within 6 months - in first aid, CPR and AED.
What success looks like:
- You're proficient in the security control room and with related systems and equipment.
- You regularly monitor emergency broadcast messages and life safety scanner.
- You maintain accurate reports and logs of after-hours access, incidents and activities.
- You have professional and positive interactions with tenants, clients, staff and the public.
