Usherwood is searching for an industry-experienced Sales Team Manager to attain quota with their sales and create a team to manage. This position is crucial in managing and providing direction for the Usherwood Sales Division. Usherwood provides a culture that rewards innovation and creativity while adhering to a strong discipline of putting our clients first.


In this position, you will be allowed to further both your sales and management skills. The Sales Team Manager will be responsible for building and developing a team of Sales Professionals and proactively selling Usherwood's best in breed product line to existing and potential clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales manager looking to join a company where they will be given the tools and opportunity for robust career progression. The on target earning for this role is $125,000.

Major Goals and Responsibilities

  • A highly motivated self starter, able to build credibility and 'add value' to a team of high performing sales professionals
  • Review team member performance metrics to coach toward best-in-class utilization, results, and client satisfaction
  • Consistently review performance and provide ongoing training and mentoring to team members
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic clients
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Strive for positive resolutions to difficult client circumstances
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts


Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related fields or experience
  • 5+ years in sales, some management experience, and proven track record of sales leadership success
  • Manage, mentor, and lead sales team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales skills and product knowledge
  • Strive to exceed personal and team sales quotas
  • Leading from the front in terms of call process best practice, calling clients directly and assisting team members with sales

  • Forecast and communicate future revenue performance back into the business
