Semiconductor Equipment Technicians responsibilities:

  • Sustaining fab production processes for the Diffusion / Implant functional areas.
  • Creating metrology recipes.
  • Investigating SPC failures.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and process problems.
  • Perform testing and gather data to support new tool start-up and technology transfer activities.
  • Writing process specifications and reports.
  • Repair and Maintain LAM, Tel and AMAT Etch systems.
  • Repair and Maintain Novellus & Mattson Strip systems.
  • Trouble-shoot electronic, electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Read and interpret mechanical prints and electrical/electronic schematics.
  • Work with systems containing radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid and gas hazards.
  • Practice effective and productive written and verbal communication.
  • Document work in maintenance logs effectively.
  • Repair and Maintain Canon Fine Pattern Alignment systems.
  • Repair and Maintain TEL CleanTrack systems.
  • Trouble-shoot electronic, electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Read and interpret mechanical prints and electrical/electronic schematics.
  • Work with systems containing radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid and gas hazards.

Semiconductor Equipment Technicians Physical Requirements:

Able to lift, push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 50 lbs; sit 5%; stand 60%; walk 35%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing. Work environment could include slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, fumes or odors, dust or gases.

Semiconductor Equipment Technicians Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Some positions require AA degree in a technical field or equivalent semiconductor industry experience, military training or technical degree.
  • 0-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance in the Semiconductor industry
  • Must be competent in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organization, documentation, and writing and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication
  • Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-directed, self-motivated.

Salary: $ 25.00 - $48.00

  • Shifts are from 6:30am to 6:30pm and 6:30pm – 6:30am
