POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant Consolidations position will support the global financial close and consolidation processes and related supplemental management reporting using SAP's Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) software and assist with the transition to Workday Adaptive. Reporting to Director, Accounting and SEC Reporting, you will work closely with the business to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the financial data. #LI-Remote but will need to come to work in the Burlington office a few times per quarter.

You Will: (Principal Activities)

• Consolidate the worldwide financial results and operating data used for actual, budget and forecast purposes.
• Work with the accounting and finance team to prepare the consolidated Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow statements following US GAAP.
• Work with the business to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the financial data.
• Ensure that all intercompany accounts are eliminated in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with our SOX 404 controls and policies about financial reporting, segregation of duties and system change management.
• Work with external auditors for periodic financial reviews, controls testing and other inquiries.
• Pursue continuous process improvement to improve and shorten the close and reporting cycle.
• Help with the monthly and quarterly close procedures including preparing and /or reviewing various reports and/or reference aids.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of FASB technical pronouncements and SEC rules and regulations
• Experience with SAP's Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) software
• Experience with Workday Adaptive as we are transitioning from BPC to Workday later in 2022.
• Proficient in business applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Process/Control applications.
• Team before self mentality highly desirable.

Education & Experience

• Typically requires a minimum level of knowledge that is acquired through a four-year college degree in an applicable field and five years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous consolidation and accounting system experience in a public company with global operations.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting, foreign currency translation and preparation of cash flow statements.
• Must use high ethical values when dealing with difficult and uncertain audit situations.
