Senior Clinical Officer

Outreach Counseling Centers
The Outreach Counseling Centers primarily serve under-resourced populations including low-income, immigrant, and refugee individuals and families. Located in Carol Stream, Wheaton, Warrenville and York Township, the centers provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy for a full range of concerns including family conflict, depression, anxiety, trauma and loss as well as crisis intervention for runaway and homeless teens. Additionally, the counseling center in Carol Stream offers animal-assisted therapy as well as evaluation and treatment for ADHD, psychological assessment for emotional and learning disabilities and wellness.
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Clinical Officer provides leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the counseling programs in 4 communities and the assessment clinic. Responsibilities include staff planning and supervision, program planning and development, outcome and statistical reporting, oversight of practice management, and coordination of services between programs, program marketing and the development of community relationships, policy and procedure development, grant management, and financial management. The Senior Clinical Officer may maintain a small counseling caseload at their own discretion.
The Senior Clinical Officer reports to the Chief Operating Officer, participates as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and OCM Management Team, supervises all Counseling Program Directors, Assessment Clinic Director, Practice Manager, and leads the clinical leadership team.
Requirements:
A passion for the mission of OCM and the provision of community-based mental health services. MA/MSW & full licensure. Doctoral level a plus. 7+ years of direct clinical experience. Previous clinical leadership experience with demonstrated success in staff management, program development, financial management and community engagement. Ability to initiate and develop successful relationships with community partners. Client database familiarity and software skills to manage reporting responsibilities. Medicaid and private insurance billing familiarity a plus. Previous experience analyzing program statistics and outcomes. Goal-oriented with ability to inspire and motivate a team toward action. A commitment to Outreach’s Statement of Mission & Faith required.
Status:
Full-time at 40-50 hours per week. Occasional evenings/ weekends.
Compensation:
Annual salary falls between $90,000 - $115,000 based on education, skills, and experience. Full benefits package included.
