We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Copywriter to join our Marketing Communications team in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be hybrid or 100% remote (depending on location).

As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll develop creative, clear content that translates sophisticated financial concepts and annuity product features into benefit-centered marketing copy that moves the needle. You’ll partner with members of our creative team and product management, sales management, compliance, and external partners to develop targeted marketing communications.

How you will make an impact:
Writing copy for B2B and B2B2C digital and print marketing communication campaigns and projects directed to financial professionals and their clients. Tactics include (but not limited to) email, web pages, newsletters, blogs, direct mail, brochures, social media content, and digital advertising.
Partnering with designers and other team members to create original concepts for marketing campaigns.
Writing, proofreading, and editing original copy for projects requested by marketing associates and other internal clients.
Consulting and advising internal clients concerning project requirements.
Discussing creative concepts and presenting to stakeholders.
Collaborating with the marketing analytics analyst and other internal partners to evaluate campaign results and recommend further actions for content.
Reviewing, revising, and rewriting sales and marketing materials as they come up for reprint.

The experience you will bring:
5+ years of experience immersed in writing copy for financial services firms with at least one year of experience writing about annuity products.
A 4-year degree in Marketing/Advertising, English, Journalism, or equivalent experience
The ability to concept and convey ideas while collaborating with designers and our video and digital teams
Up-to-date knowledge of email and social media campaign best practices
The ability to confidently present your work to stakeholders and C-Suite management

Experience writing copy that clearly explains annuity products and their potential benefits
FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 license
Advertising agency experience
Persuasive samples that show your ability to elevate ideas and think beyond the brief

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$91,400.00 - $114,200.00 - $154,200.00
