We are seeking a Senior Director, Global PMO with the vision, experience, communication skills, and operational expertise to create an incredible and unforgettable customer experience while keeping a laser focus on customer outcomes. The role will report directly to the SVP, Global Technical Services and will lead a talented team of Project Managers within our Professional Services team who are the primary project advisors on all Enterprise projects. Responsibilities
  • Lead a global, diverse team of highly-skilled Individual contributors and people leaders
  • Strive to continuously innovate project delivery methodologies and execution to ensure on-time and on-budget deployment of all customer projects
  • Ensure project teams are following best practices and adhering to processes and policies (e.g. timesheet completion, project forecasting); identify and help to constantly improve best practices
  • Identify and implement project management tools to facilitate and optimize project delivery and customer communication
  • Manage the implementation and delivery of the red account process - with mitigation plans for at-risk customers and success plans/timelines for escalations
Manage The PMO Business
  • Act as an escalation point in projects and provide expertise to ensure delivery quality for all project deliverables
  • Establish and facilitate effective project management governance, oversight, and prioritization in support of the organization's objectives.
  • Manage staffing allocations for all geographies
  • Recruiting, onboarding and development of PMO org to ensure success for the individual and the initiatives they lead
  • Perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of project implementations and manage day-to-day relationships
  • Manage and control project scope, timeline, budget, risks & issues, and change control processes across multiple regions and teams simultaneously
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of managing Professional Services and/or PMO teams
  • 8+ years of customer-facing experience
  • 10+ years of project management experience required
  • Deep understanding of services financials and services processes at technology companies
  • You are an excellent communicator and influencer. You know how to create strong relationships across various departments in order to gain buy-in and drive constant improvement.
  • You are someone who challenges the status quo with the goal of bringing in new innovative ideas and improving upon programs and processes.
  • You have a can-do attitude to resolve problems and deliver results.
  • You have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • Have prior experience working in the international environment, strong influencing and persuasion skills and the ability to be a respected collaborator.
  • Digital Marketing experience preferred
