What We Seek:
The University of New Mexico Foundation is seeking talent to function as a driving force inside the IT and Reporting Team. Be the leader of problem resolution and provide support for the donor database, technical support for data analysis, report development, establish procedures, and provide technical leadership to Foundation staff.

What We Require:
We need talent with excellent communication, analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills. This role requires a bachelor’s degree (or a combination of higher education and relevant experience beyond the minimum), five years of experience in database programming, two years with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.

What We Prefer:
The team would prefer someone with three years of experience with Advance, Visual Basic and/or Net, and a solid ability to maintain and configure IIS webs software.

Essential Duties:

  • Leads problem resolution and provides support for donor database, currently Ellucian Advance, data feed to Finance Enterprise, and other related applications.
  • Reviews, develops, designs, tests, implements, and maintains Advance. Develops new and modifies existing reports for Advance-user production from within Foundation’s main database system and other applications.
  • Develops, tests, and documents data update scripts for data loading, data cleanup and data integrity.
  • Administers, develops, and implements policies and procedures for the integrity of the database along with all related documentation for all reports, procedures, processes, and interfaces.
  • Performs application and data analysis when needed; writes scripts to search for information and participates in plan development to move information, from various sources, into and out of the Advance application database.
  • Performs cursory Oracle and SQL server DBA functions, as needed.
  • Primary technical resource for troubleshooting IIS web software.
  • Coordinates regularly scheduled address, phone, and additional updates via external vendors and the database.
  • Serves as lead analyst in a design subgroup when appropriate, directing and integrating the work of colleagues including analysts, vendors, and consultants.
  • Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
  • Facilitates a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures, backgrounds, and/or beliefs.
  • Contributes to the overall success of the Foundation by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation Salary Range: $52,000 - $101,000

Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid
