Summary/Objective
BSN SPORTS is currently seeking a Senior SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Analyst to join our growing team at our Farmers Branch, TX headquarters. The Senior SAP SD Analyst will perform support as well as write functional specs and implement SAP changes in an existing SAP ECC 6.0 environment.Solid critical thinker with creative technical capabilities such as the ability to debug ABAP code, good organizational skills, good communications skills, and logic-based thinking process required.
The Senior SD Analyst will report to the Sr. Director of SAP Services and will support operations by ensuring the highest level of professionalism, integrity, governance, and service to internal customers. This role is not related to a new installation of SAP or an SAP SD implementation project, but rather for a longstanding SAP environment requiring SAP support, modifying existing functionality, and maintaining several proprietary applications written in ABAP.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing support to business users in an SAP ECC 6.0 environment that has extensive proprietary applications written in ABAP with supporting databases inside the SAP environment, such as a web enabled order entry front end and proprietary data warehouse.
- Partnering with business users, including executive management, to understand and document requirements when changes are needed within the SAP sales and distribution area.
- Writing functional specifications to address the business requirements.
- Partnering with IT ABAP programmers to share the business requirements and solutions documented in the functional specifications.
- Partnering with QA analysts to explain new SAP functionality and provide testing guidance.
Qualifications
- Business/Technical Acumen: Superior analysis and problem-solving skills. MUST possess ability to debug ABAP code. MUST have experience supporting an existing SAP environment demonstrated by a resume showing long term employment in more than one company. Experience with non-SAP provided custom or proprietary applications written in ABAP will give the candidate a huge advantage. Experience implementing and supporting web services is a huge plus.
- Communication: Excellent communications, follow up, and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including confidence and presence to engage effectively with the business and technical resources. Must be able to strategically and succinctly articulate messaging.
- Collaboration: Able to work across the IT organization with Business Users, Programmers, Basis, Infrastructure to build strong partnerships to meet shared objectives
- Organization: Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables with competing priorities on tight deadlines; must have meticulous, focused attention to detail
- Accountability: Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments; promotes a sense of urgency and establishes and enforces individual accountability

Education, Certification and Experience
- Minimum of (7) seven years of progressive work experience on the SAP ECC platform; focused experience in the SD Analyst role.
- Intermediate / advanced Microsoft Office product experience (e.g., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Outlook)
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
- Experience with Jira.
Travel
Travel is minimal, some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
