Position:
Per Frigel North America We are looking to add a Service Technician to our Service Team. We cover all of the US and Canada from our office in East Dundee, IL. We also cover Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, The Dominican Republic, and large portions of Mexico. This is a rare opportunity to be a factory Service Technician for an international OEM.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer skills, e-mail, MS Word and Excel
- 5 or more years of experience in an HVAC/R tech position
- EPA refrigerant certification
- Knowledge of 220, 480 and 575VAC 3 phase power
- Solid refrigeration background
- Some knowledge of microprocessor and PLC control and control wiring
- Some knowledge of pumps, piping valves and water flow
- Must be able to communicate clearly with customers in person, on the phone and via e-mail
- Must be able to get to and from the work and the airport independently
Other information:
Additional skill that is a bonus but not a requirement:
- TIG, MIG or stick welding
- EPA refrigerant certification
