$18 per hour

• One Full time position, seasonal
• Shifts are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, typically Monday - Friday.
• Shifts can vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.

Under the direction of Purchasing Supervisor, to receive, deliver and store supplies in the Snowbird commissary in order to meet the shipping and receiving needs of Snowbird business units.

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility

• Fill merchandise orders in order to accurately deliver supplies to resort departments.
• Help unload trucks making deliveries and sort incoming inventory. Obtain signatures and file signed forms in the commissary.
• Follow all safety procedures and practices in order to maintain a safe working environment for co-workers, self and resort.
• Perform light cleaning and maintenance within the commissary.
• Operate forklift pallet jack and drive delivery truck as assigned.
• Assist in taking monthly physical inventory in order to assure accuracy and thoroughness.
• Travel: Occasional trips to Salt Lake Valley.

• Occasional contact with guests.
• Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management and other departments.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.

Specific Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver License w/ Clean MVR

Skills & Knowledge

Technical:

This job requires basic competency in reading, writing, speaking and interpersonal relations. Candidate needs simple arithmetic skills and the ability to organize paperwork.

Administrative:

Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks while keeping work safety in mind.

Working Conditions

Mental:

• Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary on occasional times of road closures.

Physical:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
• Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
• Warehouse and loading dock environment, with exposure to various safety hazards.
• Work requires continuous lifting, carrying and moving of various supplies up to 100 lbs.
