We are currently seeking a Technician, with machine shop experience, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will have previous experience working on engine component repairs and experience working on turbochargers is a definite asset. Our hours of work are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, overtime work is necessary and you will be required to participate. The wage range is $20.00 per hour up to $33.00 per hour. The starting wage offered will depend upon your experience.

Your duties:
This position involves mainly bench work in a machine shop setting using manual mills and lathes. Alamo is primarily a turbocharger repair facility with some manufacturing work. Your time will be spent disassembling, evaluating and re-assembling turbochargers and cores. Additionally, you will complete internal reports properly and clean components for repair.

Your qualifications:
Alamo will provide you with full training; however, you must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. A copy of your abstract showing your clean driving record is also required. Your willingness to get your passport and travel to Canada for occasional deliveries is necessary. Industrial engine repair experience or training, and forklift training are assets.
