Power Monitors, Inc. is growing rapidly and we want YOU to join our team! We are the industry leaders in the design, development, and manufacture of the best power quality tools available to electrical professionals worldwide! We are located in the Shenandoah Valley, just south of Harrisonburg, VA in Mt. Crawford, Virginia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs any combination of the following tasks to run, program and manage SMT equipment.
- Reads work orders, follows assembly documentation, sample assemblies or verbal instructions.
- Loads program into the SMT computers
- Load parts in SMT machine feeders and checks feeders for part alignment
- Follows onscreen instructions and procedures (i.e. adjusting the blade height, etc.)
- Meet daily production plans
- Maintain process charts and records as directed by supervisor
- Ensure attainment of production plans at the agreed upon levels
- Performs testing and inspections using magnifying devices, measuring instruments or electronic test equipment to ensure assemblies meet production specification and standards.
- Reports any defects to supervisor.
- Maintains clean and safe work environment.
Skills
- Good dexterity and eyesight.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to complete ISO-610 and J-STD soldering certification
Education: Two year degree in electronics or equivalent experience
Experience: Two (2) Years experience using SMT equipment
