Social Media Coordinator

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Coordinator to support the marketing goals of a rapidly growing multi-brand company. Your passion for social media as a communications and marketing tool will result in the implementation of best practices across all social media platforms.

To be successful in this role, you must be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player. You will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the company’s social media practices over time.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
  • Define and manage multiple brand voices
  • Create consistent, meaningful content across all social media platforms, including writing and creating social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Manage a high volume of daily social media posts.
  • Communicate with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Utilize analytical tools such as Hootsuite Analytics and Meta Business Suite to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Train and educate others on features and functionalities of various social media platforms.
  • Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Keep up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Setting up and optimizing brand pages within each social media platform.
  • Perform other marketing department duties when needed.

Social Media Specialist Qualifications & Skills:

  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Experience using various analytics software.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Experience creating content in Canva or a similar graphic design platform.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
