Solerity is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

• Participate in all Lean Agile scrums, sprints and grooming sessions and develop long-term and strategic objectives to ensure that end user requirements will be satisfied in future years and meet schedule and delivery commitments within budget.
• Understand and estimate costs of deploying system components to the target cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure.
• Coordinate and collaborate with security, operations, testing, and other teams to provide system information and technical support.
• Hands-on experience developing Applications using the following technologies or something similar: SOLR, Elastic, Postgres, Java, Scala, RDS or spring boot and working with relational and non-relational database systems such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with and troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, SSL, JUnit and Jasmine tests and experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma.
• Demonstrates hands-on experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus

• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelors IT/Computer Science and a minimum of 6 Year(s) experience
