From dropping your kids off at childcare, getting something at home repaired, going to the gym or a fitness studio, to picking up your dry cleaning — our software, payments, and commerce-accelerating technologies help businesses automate operations, save time and effort, overcome obstacles, and form lasting relationships with their customers.
You’ll join Xplor Personal Services and our Global Technology team — the team that provides the support and expertise to speciality care businesses like dry-cleaners and laundry services. We build the platforms they need to support their customers and keep life moving.
Reporting into the Sr. Manager of Engineering, you’ll help us enhance our industry-leading platform used by our customer base to run their businesses. Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have:
- Use experience from a wide variety of platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux) and technologies (e.g. C#, Blazor.NET, Angular, Xamarin Forms, Maui, SQL, database design, streaming data platforms and systems, and other languages and technologies as necessary) to accomplish desired business outcomes
- Mentors Junior Engineers on engineering best practices and appropriate design patterns for common use cases
- Provide technical product improvement suggestions to improve quality, performance, maintainability of mobile apps
- Communicate and coordinate activities with engineering departments including Product Management, Quality Assurance, DevOps and other engineering teams
- Review and provided feedback on product requirements, visual designs and testing plans.
At least 2 years of professional experience with Full Stack development focused primarily on Microsoft .NET stack- At least 2 years of experience with SQL Server
- .NET Blazor experience a plus
- Xamarin, Xamarin Forms, or Maui Frameworks experience also a plus
- 3+ years of experience using C# & MVVM patterns
- Comfort level working in an Agile environments with a high degree of ownership
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated learner with a strong drive to achieve personal goals
