Our teams are working together to build an online platform that revolutionizes the car buying experience. Working with React, and Ruby on Rails, we're using cross-functional teams to ensure each piece of the platform is scalable, easy to use, and reliable.
How you will contribute to TrueCar's success:

• Developing high-performance and scalable APIs to drive our websites, mobile apps, and partner integrations.
• Creating universal/isomorphic, single-page apps for consumer and dealer-facing websites.
• Developing reusable components that can be leveraged across all our web apps.

Your impact as a Software Engineer at TrueCar:

• Along with coding, you will be responsible for working with product managers, other engineers and designers.
• We love engineers who lead the charge, communicate with other team members, and deliver a quality product and user experience.
• Help to strengthen our culture of active collaboration, helping teammates who need it, and asking for the help you need in turn.

Your Expertise:

• Experience using Ruby on Rails in a production environment
• Deep understanding of API design
• Experience building Single Page Applications using JavaScript and React.
• Experience using a relational database system (we use Postgres)
