Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior in Jacksonville, FL to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through product management and client representatives. Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and software. Communicate with clients on systems application. Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked or internet-related computer programs. Interact with product managers and users to define system

requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Train and communicate with internal client training, client relationship and sales teams on systems application. Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to

technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: developing web applications using Stream services framework including TCC compliant framework based on CPP; working in Agile environment including user stories, features, and acceptance criteria; building and migrating Algo products using TCC Algo services suite; utilizing frameworks and CPP patterns for the Algo products; utilizing Java framework and pattern for the FIX products; utilizing Groovy to customize the ValdiFix product; performing software development life cycle process and software programming with tools and technologies including cmake, quickbuild, Veracode, and BlackDuck; performing code review; debugging large components of back end suite; implementing software feature deployment using unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and working with Algo and FIX Framework to provide functional support on the Algo Products to manage correct TCC workflow, Market data, and order routing. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in one of the above-listed fields and three (3) years of experience. Telecommuting and / or working from home is permissible.
