What You'll Be Doing
Responsible for software quality testing on a variety of new and existing functionality and applications, including planning, developing, executing and maintaining manual test cases and test scripts based on business requirement documents.
- Develop, write and review test plans and test cases based on the test strategy, risk analysis, functional specifications and use of product within existing infrastructure.
- Attend design meetings to gain a better understanding of the project and review test plans and test cases with the key stakeholders such as the project manager, business analyst and software developer for feedback and test coverage assurance.
- Analyze, document, and submit issues discovered during testing. Verify and close issues resolved during the release cycle.
- Update test cases when appropriate to reflect changes in product functionality or requirements.
- Actively participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization processes to ensure successful execution of testing activities. Effectively contribute and implement new ideas to improve the software testing process.
- Partner and build effective relationships with others throughout the testing and software development departments.
- Develop, execute, and support automated tests.
- Keep abreast of current methodologies, technologies, and tools, and proactively seek ways to incorporate them into testing efforts.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews of functional specifications and design documents.
- Work with management to define user acceptance testing and assist subject matter experts (SMEs) within business units with user acceptance testing.
- Work with programmers to set-up/configure use of test environments to fit business unit needs.
- Participate in the annual disaster recovery testing by preparing test cases and testing our when hosted at our disaster recovery site. This test is not conducted during normal business hours and is typically conducted on a Sunday morning.
- Use internal defect tracking and test case management system(s) to document test cases, record defects, record test case execution results and generate tracking reports for management.

- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of testing experience over multiple projects Required
