Job description

The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for establishing and driving procurement of material and services in alignment with business goals for assigned commodity/category as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Sourcing Plan with supporting strategies
• Execute strategies to align with business growth and new product Introductions and developments
• Manage site category and commodity strategies including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, market analysis and global technology / economic trends
• Develop and manage relationships with key supplier leadership management
• Manage supplier selection, RFQ and RFP process, negotiation, contracting and supplier performance processes
• Assist in site tactical procurement escalations, reconciliations, and reporting as required
• Craft purchase order and inventory reports for management
• Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders

Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in global Procurement and/or Sourcing Management is required.
Strong business analytical, computer, and organizational skills, particularly in managing and processing supplier databases
Strong understanding of import/export requirements and customs practices for the US.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,416.50 - $99,590.65 per year
