Are you a great sous chef looking to work for a restaurant that is the best at what they do? Lockhart's BBQ is the place for you. We are hiring a Sous Chef to work closely with our Executive Chef. We make award winning Texas style BBQ on our custom 700lb all wood smoker. We are a full service restaurant in downtown Royal Oak that focuses on doing everything from scratch. In addition to BBQ we offer a full menu and bar. The Sous Chef will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen including leading our team, smoking our meats, working with vendors, scheduling, inventories, working closely with our Chef and creating new exciting dishes for our guests. Experience as a sous chef with culinary skills is required but smoking meat experience is not. We will show you how its done the Lockhart's way.
