Job description
HMS Middle School is looking for a special education associate who will assist students with special needs under the direction of the classroom teacher. This may include but not be limited to the implementation of lessons, management of the classroom, assistance in personal care, and tracking data that guides in educational decision-making. In addition, this position will assist in general supervision duties as assigned by the building principal.
The HMS Middle School serves approximately 190 students in grades 5-8 and is located in Sanborn, IA. HMS Middle School is located in beautiful Northwest Iowa, just 30 minutes south of the Minnesota border and 30 minutes away from the Iowa Great Lakes/Okoboji area.
