Our fully equipped space is appropriate for children 0-18 who require specialized speech services. In addition to on the job learning, KDC offers professional development activities and training necessary to maintain relevant certification/licensure in accordance with your professional discipline.In this role, you'll get to: Screening, assessments, and ongoing service coordination according to agency standards. Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, and discharge summaries Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each childs care Provide information to parents that enable them to make informed decisions for their child's progress This role allows for flexibility We are looking for people who: Must possess a current Massachusetts CCC-SLP License Preference for 2 or more years experience with target age group Strong written and verbal communication Express excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Proficient with technology (i.e.computers, phone, internet...etc.) Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportationThe physical requirements for this role: Frequent movement within classroom including but not limited to: kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning of students Operation of adaptive and specialized equipment Ability to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment Ability to physically assist individuals as determined by their needs Ability to tolerate significant amounts of walking, standing, and sitting The required pre-employment checks for this role are: Criminal Offender Record information (CORI) check Public Driving Record check Copy of Physical The interview process for this role includes: a brief phone screen with Talent Acquisition; a phone interview with the hiring manager; 1-2 team interviews; KDC values a diverse workforce.
