Job Summary:
The Spirits Key Account Representative will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing the high proof spirits business in key on premise and off premise accounts within division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key spirits account representative for 125-150 on premise accounts and 10 agency stores within division.
Weekly sales calls to all agency stores on spirits order day ensuring store is ordering necessary items.
Responsible for merchandising standards in agency stores on route.
Gaining new placements in on premise accounts for spirits portfolio. Developing cocktail list with accounts.
Working with wine/beer sales representatives in on premise accounts to include low proof and NA’s into cocktail programs.
Setting up and managing staff trainings in on/off premise accounts. Work with suppliers in territory on a regular basis. Scheduled by Spirits Marketing Manager.
Setting up and managing cocktail dinners in accounts.
Managing transfers between agency stores on route for on premise and delisting needs. Only responsible for transfers within agency stores on route.
Achieving quarterly volume goals on route while managing overall spirits portfolio. Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization’s products, services, and customers by working closely with managers and suppliers.
Pre-work daily to prepare for next day calls to maximize sales and pursue sales leads. Weekly recap and following week preplan every Friday.
Qualifications and requirements for this position include:
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Business degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Previous sales data analysis experience.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated/POS data sources.
  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with professionals of all levels.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions & Dress Code:
This position operates in a professional office environment. Expected hours of work are Monday through Friday during varying hours based on territory and account needs. Some evenings and weekends may also be required. Regular, consistent attendance is required. Dress code is business casual.

While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus. This position also requires the ability to lift, carry, transfer, and rotate product at store level.
Employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
