The senior accountant plays a critical role in the accounting department. Responsible for all cost accounting functions for a large, worldwide hardware business with sales of over $150M per annum. In addition, the senior accountant supports several other important processes such as payroll, freight, and identifying non-revenue items within the revenue report.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for AR billing and collection.
- Provide support for month-end close activities.
- Responsible for maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Payroll-related entries.
- Intercompany eliminations.
- Provide support in the preparation of financial statements including variance analyses.
- Property and Sale Tax filings for Inseego Corp (NVTL, INSG) and Inseego North America.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Experience/Requirements:
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc.)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
