Citizenship & Clearance Requirements

This position requires US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Residence and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Primary Role :

The Sr. Power BI Developer will join a small cross-functional delivery team to design, develop, and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations for a new client in the Federal space. This individual will have prior experience building reports, dashboards, and visualizations, will have strong interpersonal skills, work productively on a distributed scrum-based agile delivery team, and feel comfortable and confident communicating directly to our clients.

Essential Duties

• Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help clients derive insights and make timely business decisions
• Read an interpret data schemas and data models
• Lead or contribute to a fast-paced agile delivery team
• Present complex ideas and solutions to clients in a clear and concise way
• Explore and find creative solutions to difficult problems
• Leverage an empathetic and thoughtful approach to teamwork and collaboration

Technical Skills

• Proven track record successfully designing and implementing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• Proficiency in SQL or other query language
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, including Data Factory, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics
• Familiarity with data management and data quality processes and requirements

Other Notables

• Work under the primary supervision of Project Manager
• Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer

Experience

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Past experience working on or supporting large, enterprise-wide data projects and initiatives
• Previous Federal contracting experience

Education & Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
