ConcertoCare is seeking an experienced staff accountant who will prepare and maintain financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles that include work that is analytical, evaluative, and advisor in nature and that requires an understanding of both accounting theory and practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in Accounts Payable journal entry activity into general ledger system
• Responsible for Accounts Payable expense report and corporate purchasing card accounting
• Perform financial reporting and general accounting functions
• Assist in preparation of consolidated balance sheet/income statements
• Prepare and input monthly journal entries
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Update cash forecasting report
• Assist with monthly budget to actual variance analysis
• Preparation of audit schedules for annual external audit
• Ad hoc projects and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, CPA preferred
• Proficiency with Excel, Great Plains, Concur highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with general ledger accounting (i.e., above the transactional functions of A/P, A/R, etc.)
• Exchanges non-routine information using tact and persuasion as appropriate
• Involvement with process improvement
• High level of professionalism
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions
