7th Level Communications is a leading international sales training company that is growing rapidly. With complexity building every month and new projects scheduled there is real opportunity to grow with our financial and admin team.
We require a part timer, to start roughly 20 hours/ week, as an additional member of the finance and admin team to manage all projects involving accounting, legal, financial, tax, insurance, and other admin.

About You:
You have worked in an accounting department before and you have been involved in all the processes listed in the ‘Key Responsibilities’ section below. Ideally you have had some formal training in accounting processes, although if you have learned processes on the job, that is acceptable.
- Must be available in USA time zones M-F 9am - 6pm for communication.
- Work from home remote position
- Must have a professional appearance and background for video calls
- Able to respond to questions via slack (on phone or computer) consistently and in a timely manner during working hours
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in the following:
- Quickbooks and xero.com accounting software.
- Google Suite - Google Docs & Google Sheets (MS Excel skills are a MUST)
- Gusto Payroll or other payroll systems
- Accrual accounting concepts
- Processing accounts payable
- Familiarity with:
- Slack communication - easy to learn and not 100% required
Key Responsibilities:
- AR Tracking
- This is currently a cash reporting business. We need to be able to track the business in accruals as well. We will need your support to set this up.
- Once established, you will need to track and manage all accounts receivable
- Collect aged receivables
- AP management
- Approve vendors
- Approve invoices
- Queue up invoices for payment
- Payroll management
- Ensure proper payroll amounts are approved and scheduled
- Oversee the setup of payroll for new team members
- Schedule all payroll runs and obtain approval from CFO
- Keep current compensation amounts up to date in Payroll tracking sheet
- HR Processes
- Store appropriate files on all team contractors, employees and vendors
- Support team onboarding processes for W2 employees, 1099 contractors, and vendors
- Reporting
- Budgeting & Forecasting Support in preparation of quarterly and annual budgets
- Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Tax
- Interface with our CPA team and supply them with any needed information for them to complete tax fillings timely
- Ensure that we are compliant with quarterly taxation with every state of the US that we owe a balance to.
- Internal Controls
- Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
- Other
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Compensation:
To be discussed and agreed upon based on the experience of the candidate.
