Job overview and responsibilities
The Staff Rep – AQP Curriculum Management is responsible for ensuring data from safety programs and AQP are analyzed, and any relevant changes are incorporated into updated curricula.
- Assists with United’s AQP curriculum management, to include establishing and maintaining documents and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collaborates with internal and external customers regarding United’s AQP policies, procedures, and related database management software
- Assists in establishing and maintaining documents in United’s FAR 121 Pilot Training Advanced Qualification Program (AQP)
- Assists in providing regulatory oversight of pilot training policy, process and data management
- Assists in ensuring all pilot training (curriculum and courseware) content complies with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulation, policy and procedure
- Analyzes pilot proficiency data for incorporation into United’s AQP
- Analyzes and correlates data from other voluntary safety programs (FOQA, ASAP, etc.) for incorporation into United’s AQP
- Assists with maintaining pilot training curriculum management software. Provides technical and database support for curriculum management software
- Provides technical input for development of computer systems used for collection, analysis and reporting of pilot proficiency performance data
- Provides feedback to Flight Training Organization stakeholders on matters of AQP policy and procedure
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years of related experience
- Working knowledge of air carrier training programs and associated FAA regulations
- Working knowledge of database administration
- Working knowledge of data management and preparation best practices
- Proficient with MS Office Suite software
- Effective communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Master's degree
- 3 years of experience in adult learning and development with specialized experience in analysis, design, and development of FAR 121 Advanced Qualification Programs
- Knowledge of data analysis software and database management software
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro, InDesign and Photoshop
