Job description
Under the direction of the Senior Administrative Analyst, respond to end user support requests as the initial point of contact in resolving questions and issues concerning the StarRez Housing Database System.

Participate in data input and quality control and analyze issues and data exceptions to provide recommendations on reducing or eliminating their occurrence. Participate in testing and evaluating new or previously unused StarRez functionality and system changes prior to Housing Services acceptance of upgrade and service pack installation. Provide training to end users on basic functionality of StarRez and manage StarRez documentation via standard operating procedures. Assist in resolving customer service inquiries.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Access and Excel, with advanced knowledge of Excel formulas.

Required

Skill in analyzing information, problems and situations in order to come up with appropriate solutions using established policies and procedures.

Ability to perform duties independently and with a great degree of accuracy, prioritize work, meet established deadlines and work effectively in an environment of frequent interruptions.

Skill in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Power User or advanced knowledge of StarRez Housing Database System version 9.0 or higher.

Proficient in Excel macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Skill in developing and delivering software training in a business environment.

Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word and Outlook).

Working knowledge of standard office equipment such as telephones, facsimile machines, copy machines, printers, and document scanners.
