From your PASSION to ours

Should have knowledge of all pieces of equipment in the packaging department and is capable of assuming responsibility for the operational flow. Will operate multiple machines throughout the day. Position is responsible to ensure the quality and conformity of product is aligned with Lactalis American Group, Inc.'s standards.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Will monitor all critical phases and control within specification by cheese type.
• Operator will be trained on every piece of equipment and will be able to start-up, test, and prepare each machine for the production schedule. Ensures company policies are followed on a daily basis.
• Will be in control of daily paperwork, filling it out properly, and making comments and reports of any non-compliance results to a supervisor.
• Monitors the GL’s and other operators to ensure they are attending to their duties and the operational flow maintains consistency.
• Will ensure the product meets Lactalis American Group, Inc.'s standards throughout the cheese packaging process.
• Will follow Food Safety Management System guidelines.
• Ensure company policies are followed on a daily basis. Responsibilities may vary by department.

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.

Experience

• 3-6 months experience in a food production setting is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of cheese packaging technology; Basic mathematical skills are required (must be able to calculate averages; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; units of measurement; whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; rate, ratio, percentages.)
