Job description
The Richard Bland College of William & Mary currently seeks an experienced driver to operate its shuttle vans. The shuttle driver is responsible for driving a fifteen passenger van from the Richard Bland College campus to a number of area attractions and a smaller number of long-distance trips. There are scheduled shuttle routes for every day of the week except Sundays. The shuttle driver is responsible for greeting students who are riding the shuttles, ensuring all proper policies are followed during the route, and safely transporting students back to campus. Multiple positions will be filled from this recruitment.

- Provide safe and reliable shuttle bus service
- Performs basic administrative support duties for the office to maintain shuttle sign in sheets
- Promote the shuttle routes and activities to encourage increased ridership
- Evening availability for driving shuttle routes is a must
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license;
- Copy of Virginia driving record – record must contain no traffic violations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, tact, discretion, and a keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; proven customer service and communication skills with college-age young adults
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid commercial drivers license (CDL) preferred.

A background check will be conducted for the finalist. Successful results are a condition of employment.
