Ignite is currently recruiting a part-time Student Worker – Logistics Administrative Support within the Integrated Logistics Support organization for the International Space Station (ISS) program in Houston, TX. This is a year-round position for students looking to work concurrently with their school schedule. Candidates would ideally be working towards a Logistics, Supply Chain or Business related degree.
This individual will provide administrative support for organizational and Program Office requirements and needs. Manage, coordinate and analyze inputs for reports and information. Provide planning, coordination and facilitation support for projects and reviews, presentations, team workspace, and other ad hoc projects and tasks.
This position will be part-time and is expected to be 100% onsite in our Clear Lake area office.
Job Requirements:
This is an entry level position. Specific experience associated with the space industry or International Space Station is not required.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Ability to take direction, and to manage work efficiently and without much supervision
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate and interact with the team to ensure quality products provided in a timely manner
- Ability to gather/research required information
- Proficiency with Microsoft office tools, especially Excel
