Job description
Be in charge of your own schedule! Substitute teachers can build their schedule to work full-time or part-time and can choose the school locations they want to report to.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma to be eligible.

Substitute teachers new to Volusia County Schools require Volusia County Schools training. By applying for this vacancy, you are tentatively applying for the next STAR training class.
Once you have applied for the Substitute Teacher Vacancy, you must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible to attend a STAR training.
- Submit hiring paperwork
- Complete screening required by all Volusia County School employees. (An email authorization to complete fingerprint and drug screenings will be sent to you once your hiring paperwork has been submitted and your work history and references are complete.)

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
