Responsibilities:

Reporting to our Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing supply chain and logistics activities.

· Ensure orders are shipped quickly and efficiently from our New Yor, Colorado and Depository locations

  • Recommit inventory to SO's multiple times per day based on SO priority and order date, and inventory position.
  • Create inventory adjustments and notify vault (1 physical product may be used to ship multiple SKU's)
  • Monitor PO receipts (move SO ship from locations and create inventory adjustments immediately when items are received)
  • Monitor Master Bullion Report / Position Report. Notify team as issues arise with inventory position.
  • Follow up with vendors or internal teams to receive open PO ETA's, particularly items that are holding up many SO's from shipping.
  • Source quotes for domestic and international shipments and select vendors.
  • Create Transfer orders between NY/CO and depositories to minimize multiple box/location shipments and increase speed of IRA transfers hitting customer accounts.
  • Communicate with Ops team relating to SO fulfilment, inventory, and special circumstances for customers.
  • Manage orders/inventory at Depositories (DDSC, BSLC, BLA, IDS TX)
  • Prioritize/create IRA transfer requests and drop shipment requests, and document in Net Suite.
  • Reconcile inventory in Net Suite vs Depository reports.
  • Handle inventory discrepancies and special requests relating to depositories.
  • Monitor UPS shipments from NY/CO and depositories, to find potential lost packages and delivery exceptions. Notify Manager/Trader/Customer as issues arise. Recall/Reroute UPS packages. Provide traders with international shipment quotes as needed.

· Serve as backup to Supply Chain Manager for logistics/quoting armored freight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field is required, additional education, training, or certifications highly desirable
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience required
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 6:00pm (as well as occasional overtime or weekends as business needs dictate)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office Suite applications
  • NetSuite ERP system proficiency highly desirable
  • Knowledge of contracts required
  • Vendor Management experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize within tight time constraints
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
