Job description

Our team is growing! We are working with EllieBlu HR Consulting to fill this position. We are seeking an experienced support advisor/paraplanner who is passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals. By hiring inspired people, giving them interesting and challenging work, enabling them with innovative tools, and letting them have the autonomy they desire to complete the work in the way that makes sense for them, we’ve found a positive and sustainable way to grow. This also provides a path for employees to progress in their careers.

The successful support advisor/paraplanner will work behind the scenes in support of our existing clients and meeting advisors who work directly with them. You will not be required or expected to build your own book of business. This position is a salaried position geared to advisors who enjoy working on behalf of the client, but do not feel comfortable meeting with clients to gather assets and/or provide financial advice.

About Us

People experience financial transitions throughout their lives. Whether it’s starting a family, sending their child to college, preparing for retirement, or losing a spouse, we are there for our clients. The personal approach we use delivers a systematic solution that takes the client’s timeline, risk perception, goals, philosophies, and future needs into consideration. To be successful in this position you must be passionately committed to helping others by doing what is right for them.

Our office is located in Friendswood, TX and provides a comfortable, professional work environment. You will be joining a team of 7 advisors, consisting of 4 meeting advisors and 3 service advisors. The advisor team performs all of the duties of a financial advisor, including current and future planning, wealth management, and advanced insurance solutions. This service advisor position plays a key role on the Selah Team as we help our clients achieve financial results by working cohesively to provide outstanding service.

About You

You are someone who is passionate about helping others. You share our commitment to understand, care for, and guide our clients in making financial decisions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy researching solutions, and problem solving. You believe that learning never stops so you proactively take steps to remain up to date on industry developments.

We have the tools and resources to support your efforts, ensuring you are set up for success. We work as a team so being present in the office is essential to facilitate training, build relationships, and to support clients and advisors.
