Job Purpose
The Systems Analyst is an integral part of the Amprod, LLC corporate support team. We support three rapidly growing manufacturing companies with more than 300 employees, mainly in the Springfield, MO area.

This position provides in-house systems development to support the organizations growing automation needs. This may include integration of 3rd party products, or coding to meet specific business needs internally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

• Evaluate system application needs based on user and leadership requests.
• Communicate with the end users to solicit requirements and document, as necessary, to clarify user requests
• Recommend and support system solutions.
• Coding, reviewing, preparing test data, testing, and debugging systems.
• Produce program and system documentation for users as needed for training purposes.
• Utilize proven design and project management methodologies
• Acquire/enhance technology expertise by remaining current with evolving systems programming, analysis, and database technology.
• Generate and/or recognizing creative solutions and innovations in work related situations to mitigate risks to project success.
• Assist in troubleshooting and/or building upgraded/integrated solutions between departmental systems.

Education*

• Bachelors degree with major or minor in Information Systems and an additional concentration in business.

Specialized Knowledge and Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in technical environment.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and other desktop applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business requirements, system documentation, and technical procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing business and related IT, ERP, Order Management, and ecommerce systems and subsystems, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, HTML, PHP, Apache

• Requires the verbal skills to probe and ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements.
