LSSI is offering a full-time position for Talent Acquisition Recruiter II, Monday through Friday based in West Peoria. Must be local to West Peoria, IL. Responsible for sourcing, attracting and identifying candidates for open positions as well as a developing a talent pipeline for a range of jobs across various regions within the Children’s Community Services (CCS) Network. This position will develop working relationships with hiring management to understand their needs, and program’s culture; and will also be responsible for the coordination of the interns. This role will primarily work virtually while fulfilling responsibilities not limited to working within an Applicant Tracking System while writing clear job descriptions, posting jobs; conducting interviews, coaching managers; identifying trends; monitoring internship placements and supporting other recruitment needs.

Essential Functions:
Identify recruiting needs, establish strategies & successfully attract and hire talent working toward the process of full-cycle recruiting while working in fast-paced, high-demand environments throughout Central Illinois, to meet the objectives of the organization and the CCS Network.- Develop and maintain partnerships and solid supportive working relationships with key Network, HR and hiring management to assess, recruit for and fill talent needs within a timely basis.
- Oversee and coordinate the recruitment and placement of interns while also serving as the liaison for LSSI educational institution and/or career counselors.
- Develop an understanding of positions, programs and site requirements, develop and execute specific recruiting strategies to ensure a solid workforce.
- Promote and create the organization's presence to effectively establish and maintain partnerships with universities/schools and other associations.
- Maintain professional communication and rapport with Managers, active and passive job seekers, and organizational partners.
- Update, monitor and analyze ATS data and all facets of the hiring process to include recruiting metrics, job posting effectiveness, sourcing effectiveness, interviews, offers, to address any or forecast barriers to processes
- Train, educate hiring managers in areas not limited to the ATS, selection, interviewing and onboarding
- Establish and grow a network of contacts in the industry, and effectively utilize social media to attract suitable candidates for current and future posts.
- Remain up-to-date with employment legislation regulations and enforcing, in hiring and internship programs.
Position Qualifications:
- A Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field is preferred but some college with required experience may be considered.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of solid experience in full-cycle recruiting working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Strong problem solving, organization and project management skills are a must.
- Requires experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations impacting recruiting, selection and the hiring process.
- Time management abilities to stay on track while working remotely. Requires travel within Illinois. Some overnight travel may be required.
- Requires a valid Illinois Drivers’ License, proof of current auto insurance, with an excellent driving record and a reliable mode of transportation.
- Ability to work virtually in an environment free from disturbance and distractions; with the ability to conduct and ensure confidentiality of discussions and data.
- Prior experience working in the not-for-profit area preferred.
- Prior experience with career/job fairs and college recruiting.
- Experience in identifying and engaging passive candidates.
- Have a flexible schedule to allow for peak and slower recruiting times.
- The ability to successfully multi-task and handle a large volume of openings at any given time.
- Maintain professional communication, appearance and demeanor.
