Performance Services (PSI) is a design-build engineering company headquartered in Indianapolis, IN specializing in constructing and renovating schools, universities, and local government facilities to deliver optimal environments through the Design-Build and Guaranteed Energy Savings procurement methods. The company has provided building solutions to customers since 1998 and is a leading qualified provider of guaranteed energy savings projects and ENERGY STAR labeled buildings. Markets served include Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
PSI is looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to our Human Resources team based out of our Corporate Headquarters. Our offices are located in Carmel, IN.
This individual will be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting for our openings. Overseeing the sourcing, resume reviewing, screening, interview scheduling, and offers. Ideally, would like someone that has been in a fast-paced recruiting environment, with a big focus on outbound recruiting activities. This individual will recruit for positions in all ten states where a branch is located.
Ideally, would we would like someone with experience recruiting in the construction and/or engineering industry as our most common openings are Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, Construction Project Manager & Architects. However, we are open to other technical recruiting experiences.
This position has a pay range of $65K - $80K depending on skillset and experience. There is also a 5-10% bonus potential. As well as very good benefits (PSI covers 100% of health insurance premiums).

POSITION PURPOSE
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for preparing, sourcing, screening, recruiting, recommending, selecting, and placing employees in Performance Services.
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment
- Manage and oversee the full recruitment cycle, including but not limited to, sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback, verification, and offers.
- Source and screen candidates through traditional and nontraditional recruiting sources, such as websites and applications.
- Identify and attract top talent for roles in Performance Services.
- Present and make recommendations about candidates.
- Maintain positive relationships with past and present candidates to ensure the achievement of staffing and talent goals.
- Communicate important company information to candidates, including but not limited to, company culture, benefit and compensation information, customers, projects, markets, etc.
- Identify and understand roles and positions at Performance Services.
- Research and recognize new up-to-date recruiting methods.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations.
Communication & Collaboration
- Connect and communicate with hiring managers to determine talent needs.
- Communicate with candidates in a written and verbal manner.
- Communicate the recruitment process to hiring managers and team.
- Interact and communicate with candidates in a timely manner, updating them throughout the whole recruiting process and cycle.
Planning & Scheduling
- Set up and plan timelines for screening, interviewing, and feedback.
- Schedule follow-up messages and notifications for candidates and hiring managers.
- Ensure communication is occurring in a timely fashion.
- Track and evaluate candidates on online applications
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office functions will primarily be performed at PSI’s main business office.
- Work hours vary based on workload.
- Some overnight travel will be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources, required.
- 5-10 years of experience in recruiting is required.
- Experience and knowledge of working in an HRIS is required.
