Job description

We are hiring for both full time and part time, with a 16 hour per week minimum

Pay Based on Experience

Responsible to: God, State of Michigan Licensing, Director, and Lead Teacher

Qualifications:

1.) Must be at least 18 years old

a.) At least have graduated High School or have a GED.

b.) Be of good moral character and shall provide the child care center with documentation from the National Background Fingerprint Registry that he or she has not been named in a case as a perpetrator of child abuse or child neglect before having contact with a child in care.

3.) Be knowledgeable and capable of implementing the emergency procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A.) Assist in the planning implementation and evaluation of the classroom daily Lesson Plans

B.) Enforce rules for behavior

C.) Observe and document children’s performance, behavior, social development and physical health.

D.) Integrate BIBLE principles as appropriate

E.) Read Books, in large groups, small groups and to individuals

F.) Demonstrate activities

G.) Assist with a specific group of children and overall care and supervision of children, including large motor play, creative expression and serving meals

H.) Be capable of implementation of classroom procedures, facility policies in relation to age specific needs.

I.) It is expected that teachers refrain from gossiping about students, parents, fellow teachers, administration and will apply biblical principles in solving problems in these areas.

J.) Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to meet 24 hours of ongoing education in the field of early childhood development. Also become CPR certified, which is paid for by the organization.

K.) Be available on scheduled days at scheduled times.

L.) Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Teacher, Director, or Administration of the Victory Organization.
