Job Description:

• Sorts all soiled linen according to item or station assigned as it travels on a conveyor belt.
• Deposits/throws specific linen articles into appropriate bags.
• Assists soiled load distributor if necessary.
• Lays particular linen articles into machines to be ironed and folded by a large mechanical iron.
• Folds various linen articles manually and stacks them appropriately.
• Identify stains and mending items and places in correct carts for storage.
• Clean offices, disinfect phones, desks, doors, staircase rails and doorknobs with disinfectant chemical and rag.
• Cleans bathrooms, disinfecting toilets, sinks, walls, door, doorknobs, and garbage cans, stock bathroom with paper supplies as needed, clean mirrors, throw garbage out.
• Mop with dry and wet mop as designated
• Performs other related duties as required.
