- Take ownership of Multi-Cloud (Azure/AWS) & Collaboration and Messaging (Microsoft 365 and other subscriptions) monthly budget reporting and forecast process reporting focused on monthly consumption along with short-term to mid-term projections in collaboration with IT leadership, corporate finance, and technical owners.
- Monitor Cloud & Collaboration usage, provide insight into consumption of services & subscription licensing, and present opportunities for fiscally responsible service consumption.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business technology teams, and members of the corporate finance team to develop and implement cost optimization initiatives, proactively monitoring spending fluctuations, discovering anomalies, and seeking strategies for optimization.
- Participate in automating, integrating, and maturing the Cloud & M365 FinOps processes and data.
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders to promote a culture of cost accountability and awareness for proper Cloud & M365 financial management.
- Participate in business case development, cost modeling, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and trade-off exercises.
- Work with business teams to analyze requirements for potential solutions in Cloud and Collaboration. Define enablement needs and work with internal teams to ensure execution of approved solution meets business objectives.
- Develop and implement reporting and automation solutions for financial reporting and analysis and identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
- Typically, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical business analyst role.
- Preferred - Experience with Multi-Cloud (Azure/AWS) and Collaboration and Messaging (Microsoft 365 and other subscriptions) services.
- Preferred - Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS etc.
- Strong financial and analytical skills with experience in cost optimization initiatives, cost modeling, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and trade-off exercises.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing automation, integration, and maturity of FinOps processes and data.
- Experience in developing and implementing reporting and automation solutions for financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
