Job description
The Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist will be responsible for producing and maintaining a comprehensive library of procedures, processes and workflows that support the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) organization.
This position will also work with internal and external (to the EIT organization) clients to produce various help content and communication content as it applies to EIT.
Key Responsibilities:

Research, outline, write and edit new and existing technical documentation, working closely with various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand documentation requirements

Collaborate with technical teams to write internal processes, including technical process/procedure docs, workflows/runbooks
-
Create Knowledge Base articles and manage the documentation publishing process

Organize existing documentation library/repository
-
Research new ways of presenting information
-
Work with Marketing and People and Culture teams to provide training materials for internal clients
Professional Experience:
Candidate must possess:

Strong communication skills, as well as at a minimum, an intermediate understanding of technical concepts related to information technology

The ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and have confidence in prioritizing tasks

Superior written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in English, technical writing, or a related subject, or 5+ years of related experience.
